Two Llamas Vending is the latest business enterprise for two brothers from Florida and follows on the success of their first entry in the Two Llamas ecosystem; Two Llamas Golf Carts. We are carrying forward with this momentum to bring our brand of strong work ethic, excellent customer service, fair pricing, and integrity to the vending world.

With combined experience of over twenty years in the property management industry and thirty plus years in Information technology, the founders of Two Llamas bring a wealth of knowledge from all of their past endeavors. Before we go down that road, however, let’s answer the question that comes up from so many that we speak with. Why “Two Llamas”? Co-Founder Sean Rankin says it best.

“The Two Llamas represent two brothers. The llama stands as a symbol of endurance, community, and gentle strength. Llamas need to have another llama as a buddy and at the core of the llama symbolism lies the essence of cooperative spirit.” – Sean Rankin

It’s actually a simple sentiment that embodies the spirit and strength of everything that Two Llamas does. Let’s take a look, however, at a little more background to provide insight into how and why we do what we do.

Brothers Keith and Sean hail from Louisville, Kentucky. Sturdy men raised by parents of Scotch-Irish stock whose ancestors arrived in America in the early 1700s. The history of our family is one of hard work and diligence. Raised to take pride in whatever you do and always be willing to put your name on your work. That simple concept has remained a hallmark of all that the two brothers do. That journey has been long and for the two brothers it took differing paths.

Sean had dreams of playing football professionally, but injuries sidetracked that dream and he left college to pursue an alternate route to success. Following in his father’s footsteps, Sean worked hard at a variety of manual labor jobs; learning, absorbing, and adapting to everything he was shown along the way. Through maintenance, construction, and even managing video stores, Sean stored away every lesson and built his own management and business style that was based on sound principles and rock solid integrity. This led to his work for the past twenty plus years in property management where he has managed both properties and capital projects for a number of companies that valued his service. Ultimately, he needed a bigger challenge.

Keith also played football, but knew from the outset that his path was not professional sports, but something that challenged him in other ways. His road led through the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY where he played football and baseball while getting his degree in Marine Transportation and his USCG Third Mate’s License. After graduation he sailed on ships for Military Sealift Command (MSC) and served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, delivering vehicles and supplies to the troops in Saudi Arabia. Ultimately, however, he ended up in Information Technology after a number of years driving trucks, doing construction, and building traffic systems. Working for manufacturing, distribution, and medical companies over the past thirty plus years he has taken advantage of that time not only to hone his programming and data engineering skills, but also to learn about the ins and outs of business at a variety of levels. Now he joins his brother in building the Two Llamas business.
